When you visit the Nordic Centre do you enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and facilities provided by the Buchfink Family Memorial Lodge? We are looking for a motivated volunteer to coordinate the operation and maintenance of the lodge and other Nordic Centre buildings to ensure that these club assets are kept in tip-top shape for members and guests to enjoy.
The Buildings Manager keeps track of required maintenance and arranges work to be done by volunteers and service providers. The Buildings Manager is the primary contact person for maintenance requests and concerns from users of the buildings. Ideally this volunteer would be a regular user of the lodge and be able to spot maintenance needs before they become an issue. The director of Nordic Centre Operations provides guidance to the Buildings Manager and handles spending authorizations and strategic direction from the Board.
