Gary Murdoch Memorial
Gary Murdoch was instrumental in the early days of club development. Gary and his wife Liz started the racing program in Smithers, quickly making our team and club the most successful in Canada.
There has been a lot of interest expressed to commemorate Gary’s contributions to cross-country skiing and the Bulkley Valley Cross Country Ski Club. The club will assist the Murdoch family in coordinating a commemorative project for Gary that celebrates his life and acknowledges his achievements. To assist with the commemorative project the Gary Murdoch Memorial Fund has been established at the Bulkley Valley Credit Union.
Donations to the “Gary Murdoch Memorial Fund” can be made at the Bulkley Valley Credit Union or mailed to the BVXCSC.
