Directions
Getting to the Bulkley Valley Nordic Centre:
Entering Smithers from east: On Highway 16, cross bridge entering Smithers, turn left at lights on to Tatlow Road (at Toyota dealer), turn right onto Pacific Street, turn Left on Dahlie Road, cross over railway overpass. Follow the hard left turn on to Hudson Bay Mountain Road (follow skier signs), continue up Hudson Bay Mountain Road, through switchbacks and BV Nordic Centre is first right after switchbacks.
From the west: Follow Hwy 16 through town to King Street (corner at Petro-Can/Chevron), turn right on King St, go to Railway Ave, turn left and follow Railway to where it turns left on to Pacific. Turn right onto Dahlie Rd, cross overpass. Follow directions above to Nordic Centre.
Once on BV Nordic Centre road, pass through first parking lot (through gate) and park in the upper parking lot. Walk to the top right corner of the parking lot, past the Gary Murdoch wax hut and on to the Buchfink Lodge. The race office is on the main floor, inside the main door and on your left. The eating area and kitchen are upstairs.
