2025-2026 Ski Season Events
Events at the Nordic Centre are not possible without the participation of enthusiastic volunteers. If you have a great idea for an event or would like to help organize an existing one, please contact events@bvnordic.ca
StoryWalk, Saturday December 20 2025 to Sunday January 4, 2026. Head to the nordic centre to ski, walk, or sled through the pages of the charming holiday story, The Gingerbread Man, Loose at Christmas. StoryWalk generously provided by the Northwest Child Development Centre. This is a self-guided free event open to all, including non-members. To pitch in sign up here for tasks requiring minimal time commitment.
Tour de Treat, Saturday December 20 from noon to 2:00. Only 200 tickets will be sold. Must have valid season or day pass to participate. To contribute baked goods or to help hand them out, please head to the sign up sheet.
Holiday Hustle, Sunday December 21, 2025 to Sunday January 4, 2026. Our popular virtual ski challenge returns to shake up your holiday. We are looking for volunteers to help plan and set up the route.
McBike Welcome Day, Sunday February 15, 2026. Free skiing all day and complimentary refreshments at the Lodge from noon to 2:00. For insurance purposes, participants are asked to pick up their free pass at the dog parking lot or at the Lodge. Volunteers are needed to help make this a memorable day for our visitors.
